Architecture Grading Policy
The School of Architecture guidelines for course grading are listed here for the three separate categories of courses offered: studio, lecture, and seminar. Quantitative analysis of grading in the School has shown that the "average" grade throughout the School is a B-, so these criteria reflect that reality, as opposed to historical, though no longer accurate, benchmarks. Also, all architecture students are required to attend the School's scheduled public lectures. These occur on Monday evenings at 6:00 pm in Raytheon Amphitheater. Students who do not attend the lectures may see their grades assessed a penalty in any architecture class. Please review the criteria for the course of the appropriate type.
